PERCENTAGE ISSUANCE OF QUEDANS BEGINNING DECEMBER 4, 1989



WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (U.S.D.A.) declared effective November 27 ,1989, an additional increase of 40,290.00 MTRV (38,927.54 MTCW) in Philippine quota to the U.S. for the quota year 1989, extended to September 30, 1990;

WHEREAS, to insure the filling of this additional quota, it will be necessary to increase the percentage for "A" sugar to 10% from 8% as provided in SRA Sugar Order No. 1, Series 1989-1990 dated August 31, 1989, by reducing the percentage for "C" reserve sugar from 34% to 32%;

NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Sugar Regulatory Administration, it is hereby ordered that:

SECTION 1.       Sugar produced from December 4, 1989, crop year 1989-1990 shall be quedanned by the mill companies concerned in the following percentages:

a.       "A" or export sugar      10%

b.       "B" or domestic sugar 50%

c.       "C" or reserve sugar   32%

d.       "D" or world sugar       8%

SECTION 2.       Provisions of Sugar Orders, Circular Letters, rules and regulations inconsistent with or contrary to this Order are hereby amended, modified or revoked accordingly.
