Please be informed that on July 27,1999, the Interagency Committee for Implementation of Textile Agreements (CITA) has directed the U.S.  Customs Service to deny entry to shipments from factories listed on their exclusion list Companies will be listed on the exclusion list if, during a Textile Production Verification Visit (TPVT) or Joint Observation Visit (JOV), their factory has been found to be illegally transshipping, closed, of unable to produce records to verify production.

In this regard, please be reminded that for GTEB and US Customs purposes, all records particularly production records should be kept at the company's premises for a minimum period of two (2) years and must be made available to GTEB representatives upon formal request.
