SHOWING OF SEX AND VIOLENCE IN NEWS AND CURRENT AFFAIRS PROGRAMS



It has been monitored and observed by this Agency that Television News and Current Affairs Programs feature or show sex and violence in their airing of the same.  You are sternly warned hereby that your programs must strictly comply with the criteria on "G" and "PG" classifications or ratings, when showing scenes of violence and sex so as not unduly distress youngsters who may be watching the same considering that news and current affairs programs are aired in the morning and early in the evening when youngsters are home from school.
