Relative to the new standard wage for foreign workers set by the Taiwan government, all concerned are advised to peg the salary of domestic helpers/caretakers for Taiwan at an amount approximating the Taiwan prescribed minimum salary for factory workers which is NT$14,880 effective immediately.
