Attached is the 1st indorsement (Text available at ONAR, U. P. Law Center) dated April 10, 2001 of Mr. Simeon S. Amurao, Chief, Veterinary Quarantine Service, BAI, South Harbor endorsing a copy of Memorandum dated April 3, 2001 instructing all Veterinary Quarantine personnel at international seaports and airports to examine all shipments of meat, meat products and by-products originated from clean country that are specifically coursed through the Bureau of Customs Transshipment/Warehousing and intended for Duty Free Shops and Special Economic Zones, and that ail containers shall be opened and inspected at the port of entry to make sure that the contents conform with the requirements stipulated in the Veterinary Quarantine Clearance issued in favor of the importer.
