2.1 | By joining regional and international cooperation aimed in countering Civil Aviation Terrorism, such as the APEC-Transportation Security Experts Group; the ASEAN-Japan Aviation Security Group; the IATA Aviation Security Committee; the European Commission Aviation Security Experts Group and the U.S. Transportation Security Administration, and others as maybe appropriate; |
2.2 | Representatives from the Office for Transportation Security (OTS) with appropriate training, experience and education in aviation security as determined by the OTS Administrator shall be sent to these meetings and conferences. Provided, that all security sensitive or classified information for discussion in the meeting shall be first be cleared with the OTS Administrator; |
2.3 | The OTS representative shall submit in detail, an After Conference Report attaching thereto all materials, paraphernalia, information, data, any/or all materials from the said conference; |
2.4 | Information officially shared by another contracting state with OTS shall be accorded the highest form of protection after OTS shall have classified the same. |
3.1 | This office reserves the right to duly classify documents and or information shared by other states. |
3.2 | Classified documents shall be shared with anyone with security clearance on need- to-know basis only as determined by the Administrator. |
3.3 | Adequate protection shall be accorded to all classified documents by observing the requirements of OTS Manual for “Document Security” especially on filing, retrieval, sharing and transmittal. |
4.1 | Each classified document shall be re-classified by OTS every three years. |
4.2 | After re-classification, OTS may order the destruction of expired documents in accordance with the standard security procedure as enunciated in the manual. |
