(NAR) VOL. 13 NOS. 1-2 / JANUARY-MARCH 2002
Due to the clamor of various transport groups, this Board will no longer issue a Provisional Authority for a Certificate of Public Convenience (CPC) of a public utility vehicle when an application for extension of its validity has been filed before this Board.
As a necessary consequence, the Land Transportation Office (LTO), the Traffic Management Group (TMG), the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), and/or other traffic enforcers are hereby ordered not to apprehend any public utility vehicle falling under this category provided that the driver of the unit can show a copy of application for extension of validity duly received by this Board.
This Memorandum Circular shall take effect immediately.
