ALLOCATION OF RADIO FREQUENCIES FOR THE GLOBAL MOBILE PERSONAL COMMUNICATION BY SATELLITE (GMPCS)



Pursuant to RA 7925 and its Implementing Rules and regulations, the National Telecommunications Commission hereby reallocates the following radio frequencies to the Global Mobile Personal Communications by Satellite (GMPCS):
a. 1530.0 — 1559.0 Mhz (Space-to-Earth)
    1631.0 — 1660.0 Mhz (Earth-to-Space)
b. 1610.0 — 1626.5 Mhz (Bi-directional)
    2483.5 — 2500.0 Mhz (Space-to-Earth)
c. 1980.0 — 2010.0 Mhz (Earth-to-space)
    2170.0 — 2200.0 Mhz (Space-to-earth)
d. 137.00 — 138.00 (Space-to-Earth)
    148.00 — 149.90 (Earth-to-Space)
e. 18.800 — 19.300 Ghz (Space-to-Earth)
    28.600 — 29.100 Ghz (Earth-to-Space)

The above frequencies by GMPCS is subject to existing international and national radio regulations and shall not constrain the development of other radio service to which these bands are also allocated.

This circular shall take effect fifteen (15) days after publication in a newspaper of general circulation and three (3) certified true copies furnished the UP Law Center.
