As approved by the United States Postal Services and the Singapore Post, the commission for International Money Orders shall be increases effective August 01, 1997.

For United States of America (USA), the commission applied for outgoing International Money Orders shall be increased from 0.05% (0.005) to 1% (0.01). Likewise, the commission for Singapore shall be increased from 0.05% to 0.06% (0.006).
