NOW, THEREFORE, under and by virtue of the authority vested in the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA) it is hereby ordered that:
SECTION 1. Section 6 of Sugar Order No. 3, Series of 2001-2002 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 6. Application for Shipping Permit. — The shipper shall be required to submit a letter of application for the permit (Application For Permit to Ship Sugar Within Philippine Territory — Annex D*) indicating the above-stated information and his concurrence to have the same verified by the authorized SRA official whenever necessary. For withdrawals of locally-sourced sugar, the shipper shall attach a copy of the corresponding SRO to the letter of application; for imported Sugar, the SRA clearance is required.
However, for transfer involving coastwise movement as mentioned herein, the shipper shall attach a copy of WAYBILL issued by the mill/refinery and Letter Authority issued by the Administrator of SRA in lieu of the SRO. The shipper shall likewise be responsible for the distribution of duly approved shipping permit copies to the consignee, shipping line, Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine Ports Authority and the Bureau of Customs."
SECTION 2. This Order shall take effect immediately.
SECTION 3. Other provisions of the aforesaid Sugar Order No. 3 shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 4. Provisions of Sugar Orders, Circular Letters, Memoranda and/or other rules and regulations contrary to or inconsistent with this Sugar Order are hereby amended, modified or revoked.
