CONFISCATION OF RK SUPERCANDY



Cease and Desist Orders (CDOs) were issued by this Office to stop the sale and distribution of RK SUPERCANDY.  Subject product is represented as a drug but the same is not registered with Bureau of Food and Drugs hence, its claims are not substantiated.  Similarly, CDO’s were also issued to stop the product’s advertisements, for the protection of the public.

The distribution and sale of RK Supercandy and its promotions/advertisements continue unabated in spite of said BFAD orders.

To protect the consumers and for public interest, FDRO’s are hereby directed to confiscate all stocks of said products that may be found in the market or any drug outlet.

FDRO’s may secure the assistance from the police authorities in the implementation of this Circular.
