Be informed that the first 50% of the regional allocations divided equally among FOS licensed by NFA as importers as of March 15, 2004, are as follows:

Out of the remaining 50% of the regional allocations, 140, 190 MT are open on a first-come-first-served basis to qualified FOS within the region subject to provisions of Memo Circular AO-2K3-12-002 date January 13, 2004.
For both allocations, FOS shall have until April 30, 2004 to open/avail letters of credit and/or other financial instruments, otherwise their allocation shall be forfeited, pooled and be opened/made available on a first-come-first-served basis through the National Pool/Allocation to FOS nationwide.
The total maximum volume of 1,500 MT per FO will continue to be applicable and those who have already availed of the maximum volume are no longer entitled to import for the current year.
