In the interest of the service and in line with the national government’s policy of rationalizing and streamlining procedures towards greater specialization and professionalization, POEA shall segregate the functions of landbased and seabased sectors. In this connection, a Special Order on the new assignment of POEA personnel has been issued. Both sectors shall have separate and distinct set of rules and regulations peculiar to its respective industry.
