In order to safeguard the interests and welfare of Filipino contract workers in Brunei and curtail the circumventive practices of watchlisted/blacklisted principals in obtaining accreditation to hire Filipino workers, the verification by the Office of Labor Attache - Philippine Embassy, Brunei of the following employment documents for male or female workers of any category shall be required:

1. Employment Contract
2. Special Power-of-Attorney
3. Service/Recruitment Agreement
4. Manpower Request

This Circular supersedes previous issuances and shall take effect immediately.
