The National Contract Law of Italy has recently been passed which covers all workers including Filipino overseas contract workers.  Foreign workers are provided adequate benefits and protection under said law.

In view of the above, Italy-bound workers may no longer submit the individual employment contract required for processing.  Instead, in addition to regular processing requirements, the following shall be required:

1.      Authorizzasione de Lavoro

2.      Certification on employer-employee relations issued by the Philippine Labor Attache

For immediate compliance.
