It was verified that in some foreign films, the importer/distributor/exhibitor publishes the rating or classification of the country of origin in the lay-out, posters and other publicity materials.  Likewise, in the exhibition of trailers and movie prints, the said foreign classification is exhibited.  Considering that the Philippine film rating and classification is different from other countries, foreign film rating and classification must be deleted in all publicity materials, trailers and movie prints before they can be published and/or exhibited in the Philippines, effective immediately.
