MEDICAL CLEARANCE/CERTIFICATE



Please be informed that the Philracom Board, in its meeting held September 27, 2005, resolved that effective immediately, jockeys are allowed to secure their medical certificate from the Club Physician if their injury is considered minor (fever, flu, diarrhea, etc.). However, for major injuries resulting from accidents, the Medical Clearance/Certificate must be issued by the Philracom Physician.

Furthermore, a copy of the said Medical Certificate must be immediately submitted to the Commission, and the corresponding Clearance Certificate (Clearance to Ride) obtained, before the same is forwarded to the Board of Stewards and the Racing Handicappers concerned.
