REVISED MTC INSPECTION CHECKLISTS (FORMS 2B-REVISIONS AND 2C-REVISIONS 3)



Please be informed that the revised Inventory of Training Equipment (MTC Form 2B-Revision 03) and Inventory of Books and Teaching Aid (MTC Form 2C-Revision 03) of the following courses shall take effect on 05 October 2009:

  1. Cargo Handling and Care of Cargo
  2. Dangerous, Hazardous and Harmful Cargoes
  3. Operational Use of Electronic Chart Display and Information System
  4. Engine Room Simulator
  5. GOC for GMDSS
  6. MARPOL 73/78, Annex I
  7. MARPOL 73/78, Annex II
  8. Radar Navigation, Radar Plotting and Use of ARPA
  9. Radar Simulator
  10. Radar, ARPA, Bridge Teamwork and Search and Rescue
  11. Radio Electronics Officer Course
  12. Ratings Forming Part of Engineering Watch
  13. Ratings Forming Part of Navigational Watch
  14. Ship simulator and Bridge Teamwork
  15. Prevention of alcohol and Drug Abuse in the Maritime Sector
  16. Ship Security Officer’s Course
  17. Crowd Management Passenger Safety and Safety Training for Personnel Providing Direct Services to Passengers in Passenger Spaces
  18. Proficiency in Crisis Management and Human Behavior Training Including Passenger Safety, Cargo Safety and Hull Integrity

Training centers that were issued Provisional Authority or Certificate of Accreditation using the old forms may be allowed to continue using the old Forms 2B and 2C until expiry of such authority or accreditation.

Training centers may obtain a soft copy of the revised Forms 2B-Revision 03 and 2C-Revision 03 of the above mentioned courses through an authorized representative holding a CDRW or Flash drive free from any virus.

This issuance to the courses supersedes Memorandum Circular No. 01, Series of 2005 for the above mentioned courses only.
