TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF DRUG TESTING FOR PROFESSIONAL DRIVER'S LICENSE APPLICANTS (NEW/RENEWAL)



In view of the present situation, the continuation of the drug testing of professional driver's license applicants for new and renewal is hereby temporarily suspended even to those residing in the National Capital Region effective December 8, 1999 until further notice from this Office.

However, holders of Professional Driver's License applying for renewal thereof may be accepted but the card type license will not be processed and/or their Temporary Driver's License/Driver's License Receipt (DLR) will not be extended unless the Drug Test Certificate will be submitted to this Office.

All orders/memoranda in conflict herewith are deemed superseded.
