(NAR) VOL. IV NO. 4 / OCTOBER-DECEMBER 1993

[ BSP CIRCULAR-LETTER, September 09, 1993 ]

PROPER FILLING UP OF EXPORT DECLARATION FORMS

The National Statistics Office (NSO) has informed us that one of the major problems greatly affecting the timeliness and accuracy of their export data is the incomplete filling up of Export Declaration forms (CBP Form No. 6-21-02 - With Foreign Exchange Proceeds and CBP Form No. 6-21-04 - Without Foreign Exchange Proceeds).

In view thereof and in support of Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 63 directing the NSO to release export  statistics 30 days after the reference month, all authorized agent banks are enjoined to see to the complete and accurate accomplishment by the exporter-applicant of the said Export Declaration Forms particularly as regards Boxes Nos. 20 and 21 of CBP Form No. 6-21-02 on the value of consigned inputs, if the export products are manufactured from materials imported on consignment, weight, breakdown of commodities and corresponding Harmonized System (HS) classification code.
