Pursuant to the Presidential directive on the strict implementation of the classification functions of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board, please be advised that effective immediately, the Board shall restrict itself to classifying motion pictures and television programs. The Board shall judge the merits of the movie or television program solely on the basis of the material as presented for review. No deletions shall be made nor even suggested.

In the event that any motion picture or television program is given a rating that the producer or distributor would deem unacceptable, the remedy is to appeal for a second review.
