DEPLOYMENT BAN ON YEMEN



Pursuant to the travel advisory dated 24 May 20011 issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) raising the crisis alert level in Yemen to Alert level No. 3 in the light of continuing political tension and escalating violence in the capital city of  Sanaa where most of the Filipino nationals are located, a deployment ban on Yemen is put in place effective immediately.

All recruitment agencies deploying workers to Yemen and their employers are hereby directed to activate/stand by with their contingency plans for their affected workers and submit progressive reports providing information on the location, names of employers, and status of their workers on-site.

Concerned agencies are hereby instructed to submit reports to the Office of the Director, Welfare and Employment Office, this Administration, or e-mail at poea_weo@ yahoo.com, within 48hours from issuance of this Advisory.
