- The ISO 9000 Certification shall form part of the technical documents/project requirements listed under Item 12.1 .b of the Bid Data Sheet (BDS) in the bidding documents for every project. The item shall be expanded to include: Item 12.1.b(ii.4) ISO 9000 Certification.
The required certification is not part of the eligibility requirements because these are limited to those enumerated under Sec. 23.1 of the IRR of R.A. 9184.- The ISO 9000 Certification shall be required for Large "B" constructors only if they are participating in the bidding of projects costing P300 Million and above. They can still participate without the ISO Certification in the bidding of projects costing below P300 Million.
- If a contractor obtains an ISO 9000 certification but has not updated its Contractor's Information (Cl) in the DPWH Civil Works Registry prior to the opening of bids, the certification may be included in the first envelope (Technical Requirements). Once the ISO 9000 certification is entered/updated in the CWR, there is no need to submits copy of the certification in succeeding biddings, unless it is expired and needs to be updated.
