WHEREAS, there is a need to revoke Sugar Order No. 2, Series of 1995- 1996, Sugar Order No. 8, Series of 2004-2005 and Sugar Order No. 11, Series of 2009-2010 re: Establishment and Extension of a Lien of P2.00 per Lkg-bag on all Sugar Production to Fund the Philippine Sugar Research Institute Foundation, Inc. (PHILSURIN) based on the Audit Observation Memorandum No. 13-007 of the Commission on Audit (COA) dated 03 September 2013;

NOW, THEREFORE, by virtue of the authority vested in the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA), the following is hereby ordered:

Section 1. Sugar Order No. 2, Series of 1995-1996, Sugar Order No. 8, Series of 2004-2005 and Sugar Order No. 11, Series of 2009-2010 re: Establishment and Extension of a Lien of P2.00 per Lkg-bag on all Sugar Production to Fund the Philippine Sugar Research Institute Foundation, Inc. (PHILSURIN) are hereby revoked.

Section 2. All mill companies are hereby directed to cease collecting the P2.00 per Lkg-bag on all sugar production.

Section 3. This Sugar Order shall take effect immediately.

Section 4. Provisions of Sugar Orders, Circular Letters, rules and regulations contrary to or inconsistent with this Sugar Order are hereby revised, modified or revoked accordingly.
