The Vietnamese Embassy in Manila has provided the following information on the issuance of visas to facilitate the entry of Filipinos intending to work in Vietnam:

• Filipinos intending to work in Vietnam must possess a work visa issued by the Vietnamese Embassy in Manila prior to departure.
  
• Filipinos intending to work in Vietnam must first secure a Visa Approval Letter from the Immigration Department of Vietnam and present a copy of the said Letter together with the Visa Application Form to the Vietnamese Embassy at the time of application.
  
• The validity of work visas must correspond to the duration of work contracts which must be for at least six (6)months.
