The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Manila announced that the Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Qatar has cancelled the issuance of the residency stickers to all immigrants which include workers and their dependents residing in Qatar.

The Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs will issue a Qatar National ID (QID) in lieu of the residency stickers which will serve as the only valid document for immigrants to enter Qatar.
