[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6582, September 30, 1972 ]

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A MEDICAL CENTER IN ROXAS CITY, TO BE KNOWN AS THE CAPIZ MEDICAL CENTER, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There shall be established in Roxas City under the direct supervision of the Secretary of Health, medical center with two hundred fifty-bed capacity and of the North General Hospital type, to be known as the Capiz Medical Center.

SEC. 2. The sum of fifteen million pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of the said medical center during the fiscal year nineteen hundred seventy-three.  Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for the same purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
