[ PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 1143, May 28, 1977 ]

AMENDING PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NUMBERED ELEVEN HUNDRED THIRTY-SEVEN BY ADDING A NEW SECTION FIVE AFTER SECTION FOUR THEREOF

I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, in order to effect minor amendments to existing law, do hereby order and decree the following:

SECTION 1. A new Section Five is hereby added and inserted after Section Four of Presidential Decree No. 1137 which shall read as follows:

"Sec. 5. All acts, decree, orders, rules and regulations, or parts thereof, which are contrary to or inconsistent with the provisions of this Decree are hereby repealed, amended or modified accordingly."

SEC. 2. Section five of the same Decree is renumbered accordingly as Section six.

SEC. 3. This Decree shall take effect immediately.

Done in the City of Manila, this 28th day of May, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-seven.
