[ Act No. 1336, April 24, 1905 ]

AN ACT AMENDING SECTION NINE OF ACT NUMBERED EIGHTY-THREE AS AMENDED BY ACT NUMBERED ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY-THREE, TOY STRIKING OUT THE REQUIREMENT RELATIVE TO INDORSING PROVINCIAL WARRANTS.

By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:

SECTION 1. Section nine of Act Numbered Eighty-three, as amended by Act Numbered One hundred and thirty-three, is hereby further amended by striking out of paragraph (e) of said section the words "duly indorsed by the payee named therein, shall be Ms vouchers for their payment," and inserting in lieu thereof the following: "shall be attached to his vouchers for their payment," so that said paragraph (e) shall read as follows:
"(e) He shall be the custodian of the funds of the province and shall pay no money out of the provincial treasury except upon warrants drawn in accordance with law, which shall be attached to his vouchers for their payment."
SEC. 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth. nineteen hundred.

SEC.  3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
