[ Act No. 3700, November 20, 1930 ]

AN ACT TO AMEND ACT NUMBERED THIRTY-FOUR HUNDRED AND TWENTY-TWO WHICH CONFERS UPON MUNICIPAL COUNCILS GENERAL AUTHORITY TO LEVY TAXES SUBJECT TO CERTAIN LIMITATIONS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:

SECTION 1. Section two of Act Numbered Thirty-four hundred and twenty-two, is hereby amended by adding thereto the following proviso:
"And provided, further, That hawkers, peddlers and hucksters who have secured licenses at the rates fixed by ordinance in any municipality shall not be required to take out licenses in any other municipality through which they may travel for business for a period not exceeding twenty-seven days during each quarter, unless the term for the renewal of such licenses shall have expired."
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on January first nineteen hundred and thirty-one.
