[ Act No. 2658., March 03, 1916 ]

AN ACT MAKING APPLICABLE TO THAT PART OF THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS INHABITED BY MOROS OR OTHER NON-CHRISTIAN PEOPLE CERTAIN ACTS OF THE PHILIPPINE LEGISLATURE.

By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:

SECTION 1. The following Acts of the Philippine Legislature are hereby made applicable to that part of the Philippine Islands inhabited by Moros or other non-Christian. people, and shall have full force and effect therein:

No. 2584. Passed February 4, 1916, entitled "An Act regulating sponge fisheries in the Philippine Islands."

No. 2590. Passed February 4, 1916, entitled "An Act for the protection of game and fish."

No. 2604. Passed February 4, 1916, entitled "An Act for the protection of marine mollusca."

No. 2622. Passed February 4, 1916, entitled "An Act to amend Act Numbered Twenty-three hundred and thirty-nine, known as the Internal Revenue Law of nineteen hundred and fourteen, as amended by Act Numbered Twenty-five hundred and forty-one."

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its passage: Provided, however, That Acts Numbered Twenty-five hundred and eighty-four and Twenty-six hundred and four shall become effective in the Department of Mindanao and Sulu on April first, nineteen hundred and sixteen: And provided further, That all acts and things done prior to the taking effect of this Act pursuant to Act Numbered Twenty-six hundred and twenty-two are hereby ratified and confirmed.
