TO:	The Chairman, Commission on Elections The Secretary of National Defense All Concerned

Upon recommendation of the Commission on Elections and pursuant to Article XII, C, Section 2(4) of the Constitution, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby authorize the Commission on Elections to deputize, effective immediately, for the purpose of ensuring free, orderly and honest voting in the Regional Plebiscite in Southwestern Philippines to be held on March 17, 1977, members or units of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, including ROTC units and the National Integrated Police; and any department, bureau, office or agency of the government, or officials or employees thereof.

Officers or employees, departments, bureaus, offices, or agencies deputized in accordance herewith shall coordinate with the Commission on Elections in the performance of their task.
