[ LETTER OF INSTRUCTION NO. 21, October 04, 1972 ]

TO: The Secretary of Education
The Director of Public Schools
The Director of Private Schools
The Director of Vocational Education
The Chairman, National Historical Commission

In order to facilities the implementation of the program of reforms of the Government, and in relation to your letters dated September 28 and October 2, 1972, recommending disciplinary action against certain officials and employees, who are either facing charges or are notoriously undersirable, in the different offices under the Department of Education, you are hereby directed to take the following actions:

  1.)
Dismiss immediately all officials and employees recommended for dismissal as contained in your reports, which are attached as integral parts of this Order.
   
  2.)
Consider as resigned or retired without prejuice to receipt of retirement and or other benefits, if any, the officials and employees enumerated in your reports, including Mr. Sabino M. Cruz who is proposed for transfer to another bureau, which are attached as integral parts of this Order.

Your immediate compliance with this Order is enjoined.
