[ LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 23, October 05, 1972 ]

TO:
The Secretary of Public Works and Communications

In order to speed up the reorganization of the different offices of the Government and the current drive to weed out undesirable officials and employees, you are hereby directed to implement immediately the herein recommendation of the Acting Postmaster General that the officials and employees of the Bureau of Posts included in the two attached lists be dismissed:
  1. The first list containing the names of 106 officials and employees, with Antonio Solmirano in No. 1 and Jesus Valera in No. 106 slots, respectively, for having been found guilty of dishonesty and other gross violations of Civil Service Law and rules, thus making them undesirable public servants;

  2. The second list containing the names of eight (8) officials and employees, headed by Dominador Tupaz, postmaster, and Adrian Tominez on the last number, for having been found guilty of the charges filed against them, thus making them undesirable public servants.
Immediate compliance with this order is desired.
