[ LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 1177, December 09, 1981 ]

  National Electrification Administration

WHEREAS, Ternate has been declared a tourist zone, together with Nasugbu and Maragondon, because of the tourism potentials of its beaches and coves;

WHEREAS, the Philippine Tourism Authority has identified a site for its public beach project thereat to fill the need of Metro Manila residents for an unpolluted public beach destination during summer and week-ends;

WHEREAS, the Ministry of Public Works and Highways is hereby directed to pave immediately the access road to, and the road network inside the Ternate Public Beach to enable PTA to construct amenities and support facilities at the Ternate Public Beach.

The National Electrification Administration shall extend the electric power distribution network to the public beach site.
