(1) | To determine the extent of damage and assess the needs of the people and areas affected by typhoons "Maring" and "Nitang"; | |
(2) | To draw up medium-term relief measures and long-term rehabilitation and reconstruction program for the victims and areas affected by said typhoons for immediate implementation; | |
(3) | To identify possible financial and material resources that would be tapped to meet the requirements of the said measures and programs; | |
(4) | To seek assistance from foreign bilateral and multilateral sources where resource gaps may be identified in meeting the requirements of the above measures and programs; | |
(5) | To formulate policies and guidelines for the effective and efficient disposition of the resources, both internal and external provided for this purpose; and | |
(6) | To submit periodic report on the progress of activities undertaken in this regard. |
