JOINT COMMUNIQUE ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS BETWEEN THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES AND THE MONGOLIAN PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC

Reference: This Joint communique is also published in XII DFA TS No. 1 p. 46.

The Governments of the Republic of the Philippines and the Mongolian People's Republic, desirous of developing friendly and mutually beneficial relations between the two countries in accordance with the principles of peaceful co-existence, mutual respect for each other's sovereignty, and non-interference in each other's internal affairs, have agreed to establish diplomatic relations at embassy level, as of 11 October 1973.

The date of the exchange of accredited Ambassadors will be arranged through diplomatic channels.

Done in New York City on 11 October 1973 in two originals in the English language.
