[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 241, February 28, 1957 ]

POSTPONING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 209 DATED OCTOBER 19, 1956, AND REORGANIZATION PLAN NO. 60, RELATIVE TO PUBLIC UTILITIES REGULATIONS AND LAND TRANSPORTATION UNTIL THE APPOINTMENT AND QUALIFICATION OF THE COMMISSIONERS COMPOSING THE PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION.



Pursuant to the powers vested in me by Republic Act No. 997, as amended by Republic Act No. 1241, I, RAMON MAGSAYSAY, President of the Philippines, do hereby postpone the implementation of Executive Order No. 209 dated October 19, 1956, and Reorganization Plan No. 60 relative to Public Utilities Regulations and Land Transportation until the Commissioners composing the Public Utilities Commission and the Director of Land Transportation shall have been appointed and qualified in accordance with the Constitution and existing law.

Done in the City of Manila, this 28th day of February, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-seven, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the eleventh.
