[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 242, March 01, 1957 ]

POSTPONING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 227 DATED JANUARY 5, 1957, AND REORGANIZATION PLANS NOS. 15-A AND 27-A WHICH RELATES TO COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY UNTIL THE APPOINTMENT AND QUALIFICATION OF THE DIRECTORS OF DOMESTIC TRADE, FOREIGN TRADE, INDUSTRIAL PROMOTION AND COOPERATIVES ADMINISTRATION.



Pursuant to the powers vested in me by Republic Act No. 997, as amended by Republic Act No. 1241, I, RAMON MAGSAYSAY, President of the Philippines, do hereby postpone the implementation of Executive Order No. 227 dated January 5, 1957, and Reorganization Plans Nos. 15-A and 27-A relative to Commerce and Industry until the Director of Domestic Trade, the Director of Foreign Trade, the Director of Industrial Promotion and the Director of Cooperatives Administration shall have been appointed and qualified in accordance with the Constitution and existing law.

Done in the City of Manila, this 1st day of March, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-seven, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the eleventh.
