[ ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 15, June 29, 1936 ]

PROHIBITING THE AWARD OF ADDITIONAL WORK FOR THE COMPLETION OF ANY PROJECT WITHOUT COMPETITIVE BIDDING



In order to guarantee that all Government work in its various stages depending on the availability of appropriation shall be let out only as a result of competitive bidding, it is hereby directed that hereafter no contract be entered into between the Government and any contractor whereby the Director of Public Works or any other official reserves the right to award additional work depending upon future appropriations. Contracts shall be limited to the work that can be accomplished within the funds available at the time contracts are entered into and new bids should be requested for such additional work as may be necessary for the completion of any project.

Done at the City of Manila, this twenty-ninth day of June, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and thirty-six, and of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, the first.
