MOP, Bk 3, v.5, 54

[ ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 22, September 09, 1936 ]

SUSPENDING JUSTICE OF THE PEACE MATEO M. TAGUBA OF CAUAYAN, ISABELA, FROM OFFICE

After reviewing the report of investigation in the administrative case against justice of the peace Mateo M. Taguba of Cauayan, Isabela, it appears that the respondent committed the following gross irregularity in the performance of his official duties:

That the respondent, knowing that the defendants in civil case number eight hundred thirty-four had not been duly summoned, proceeded to try the same, and failed to notify the defendants of his decision before he issued the writs of execution.

In view of the foregoing, and considering the seriousness of the irregularity committed by the respondent, and upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Justice, Mateo M. Taguba is hereby ordered suspended from the office of justice of the peace of Cauayan, Isabela, for a period of three months, with an admonition that the commission of similar offense in the future will cause his removal from office.

Done at the City of Manila, this ninth day of September, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and thirty-six, and of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, the first.

MANUEL L. QUEZON
President of the Philippines
