CREATING AND DESIGNATING THE BPI BUENDIA CENTER BUILDING, LOCATED ALONG SENATOR GIL PUYAT AVENUE, CITY OF MAKATI, METRO MANILA, AS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CENTER PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916, AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8748



Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995, as amended by Republic Act No. 8748, and upon the recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby create and designate as Information Technology Center, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916 as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and Resolutions Nos. 00.411 and 04-210 dated 29 December 2000 and 25 June 2004, respectively, of the PEZA Board of Directors, a building known as the BPI Buendia Center, which stands on a Three Thousand Five Hundred (3,500) – square meter lot, more or less, being a portion of Lot 30-B of the subdivision plan (LRC) Psd-294054 located along Senator Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City, as defined by the following technical descriptions:

A parcel of land (Lot 30-B, of the subdivision plan (LRC) Psd-294054, approved as a non-subdivision project, being a portion of Lot 30, Block 2, (LRC) Psd-6086; LRC Rec. No. 2029), situated in the Municipality of Makati (now City of Makati), Metro Manila, Island of Luzon. Bounded on the NE., points 1 to 6 by Buendia Avenue Extension (35.00 m. wide) (St. Lot 1, (LRC) Psd-6086) on the SE., points 6-7 by Lot 30-C, of the subdivision plan; on the SW., points 7-8 by Lot 30-D (Service Road); and on the NW., points 8-1 by Lot 30-A, all of the subdivision plan.

Beginning at a point marked "1" on plan, being S. 47 deg. 32’W., 954.17 m. from BLLM No. 1, Municipality of Makati (City of Makati);

beginning, containing an area of THREE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED (3,500) SQUARE METERS, more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground as follows: 2 to 5 by Old PLS and the rest by P.S. Cyl. Conc. Mons. 15 x 60 cm., bearings true; date of original survey, December 10, 1923 – January 9, 1924; and that of the subdivision survey, executed by Wenceslao B. Calayag, Geodetic Engineer, on Marc 3 and 5, 1980.
