DECLARING SATURDAY, 28 DECEMBER 2013, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN PEDRO, PROVINCE OF LAGUNA



WHEREAS, the Commission on Elections will conduct a plebiscite on Saturday, 28 December 2013, to ratify the conversion of the Municipality of San Pedro, Province of Laguna into a component city pursuant to R.A. 10420 dated 27 March 2013;

WHEREAS, in order to give the people of the Municipality of San Pedro, Laguna the opportunity to actively and fully participate in the event, it is but fitting and proper to declare 28 December 2013 as a special non-working day.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare Saturday, 28 December 2013, as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of San Pedro, Province of Laguna.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
