WHEREAS, Monday, 1 September 2014, marks the celebration of the 100 th Foundation Day anniversary of the Province of Bukidnon;

WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 346 dated 28 February 2012 declared 10 March 2012 as a special (non-working) day in the Province of Bukidnon, in commemoration of its Foundation Day anniversary;

WHEREAS, the NHCP considered that September 1 is the correct date of the creation of Bukidnon Province;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Bukidnon be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare Monday, 1 September 2014, as a special (non-working) day in the Province of Bukidnon.
