DECLARING MONDAY, 10 OCTOBER 2016 AND FRIDAY, 21 OCTOBER 2016, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAYS IN THE CITY OF ANGELES



WHEREAS, the City of Angeles marks the celebration of the Kuliat Festival (Fiestang Kuliat) and the Tigtigan Terakan Keng Dalan, a festival which symbolizes the resilience of the people during the Mt. Pinatubo eruption;

WHEREAS, in order for the people of the City of Angeles to celebrate and participate in the event, the City Mayor has requested that 10 October 2016 (Monday) and 21 October 2016 (Friday) be declared as special non-working days.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare 10 October 2016 and 21 October 2016 as special (non-working) days in the City of Angeles.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
