In recognition of the contribution of women to the economic social, and political welfare of the nation, I Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare April 30, 1957, as Women’s Rights Day.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
