WHEREAS, Wednesday, 07 March 2018, marks the celebration of the 44th Founding Anniversary of the Province of Basilan; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Basilan, be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Wednesday, 07 March 2018, as a special (non-working) day in the Province of Basilan.
