[ PROCLAMATION NO. 83, February 16, 1963 ]

DECLARING TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 1963, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE SUB-PROVINCE OF AURORA, QUEZON



WHEREAS, the seventy-fourth birthday of the late Aurora Aragon Quezon, one of our outstanding women leaders, falls on February 19, 1963; and

WHEREAS, the people of her birthplace, the sub-province of Aurora, Quezon, should be given full opportunity to celebrate her birthday anniversary with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Tuesday, February 19, 1963, as a special public holiday in the sub-province of Aurora, Quezon.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 16th day of February, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-three.
