[ PROCLAMATION NO. 120, June 15, 1963 ]

EXTENDING THE SPECIAL SESSION OF CONGRESS UP TO JUNE 18, 1963



WHEREAS, under Proclamation No. 117, dated June 5, 1963, the Congress was called to a special session from June 10 to 15, 1963, to consider three vital legislative measures; and

WHEREAS, it appears that Congress needs additional time for the consideration of these measures;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, do hereby extend the present special session of Congress for three days, or up to June 18, 1963;

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 15th day of June, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-three.
