[ PROCLAMATION NO. 122, June 22, 1963 ]

FURTHER EXTENDING THE SPECIAL SESSION OF CONGRESS UP TO JUNE 26, 1963.



WHEREAS, under Proclamation No. 117, dated June 5, 1963, Congress was called to a special session for a period of six days from June 10, 1963, to consider three important legislative subjects;

WHEREAS, said period was extended under Proclamation Nos. 120 and 121, dated June 15 and 18, 1963, to June 18 and 22, 1963, respectively; and

WHEREAS, it appears that Congress needs some more time to consider the two remaining measures;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, do hereby further extend the special session of Congress up to June 26, 1963.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 22nd day of June, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-three.
